I’ve added a 14K gold filled version of the sideways cross necklace to the shop! I love this necklace, and wear it all the time. It really goes with everything.
Also, I’m giving you the option to choose your own necklace length up to 20 inches at no extra cost! I usually wear about a 16 inch, but I prefer my necklaces on the shorter side.
I wrap all of my jewelry in a cute little box so it’s perfect for gift giving!
After a visit to the lighthouse, we headed into town to do a little window shopping and have dinner. Portland was smaller than I expected and there were so many cute shops everywhere. We ended up buying all of our souvenirs in this town. Burned out on lobster rolls, we decided to eat at an Irish pub and it was really tasty.

Is it sad that we aren’t even through July yet and I am already dreaming of fall weather? Whenever I think of summertime, I picture warm evenings & eating out on the patio with friends, pretty sparkling lights to dance under, and of course cold drinks and ice cream. I put together a few images from the native moss pinterest boards, all of which remind me of how much I love summer (or really want to love summer).
In reality I am 33 1/2 weeks pregnant, exhausted, and prefer to stay inside where the ac is. It’s just way too hot for me here in Texas, although I’ve had plenty of ice cream to get me through the heat wave.
What do you love most about summer?

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! We are getting ready for our little one to enter the world in Sept. I am now 33 weeks and counting! We spent the weekend dog sitting my sister in laws dog and working around the house. I have finally rearranged the nursery in a way that feels comfortable. Now I’m ready for the fun part…decorating!
I have been talking lately about the two new jewelry pieces I made for the shop. I really love the sideways cross necklace. It is so perfectly dainty. I will be adding another version later this week in 14K gold!
Happy Friday! This week has flown by for me and I thought I would leave you with one of my new favorite singer/songwriters, Amelia Curran. I know we all have different likes in music, but I just love her and have been listening to her so much lately.
I’m waiting for more jewelry supplies to come in so I can work on some new pieces for the shop next week! Soon, you will be able to choose between sterling silver and 14k gold AND you will get to choose the length of your chain! I’m really excited about creating some new pieces for you (and a few for myself).
Have you seen the two cute necklaces I added this week? I love the simple, dainty and feminine look of both of them. Check them out: HERE & HERE.
Hope your weekend is fabulous! Does anyone have any fun plans?
I love simple, understated jewelry. Small pieces that can be worn alone for a minimalist look, or layered along with your favorite pieces.
This week, I am making a few new necklaces for the shop and I just added this beautiful wishbone charm necklace.
A tiny and simple sterling silver wishbone charm hangs from a light and delicate looking sterling silver chain.
Hope this piece brings you a bit of good luck!
I am already 32 weeks along now with Baby B. and I can’t believe how fast this is flying by. I keep saying that to my friends and family, but it is really true!
So, I have been spending most of my free time getting ready for this little one, and the rest of the time I have been sleeping.
Oh, to be able to sleep as much as I need to is such a blessing. Thank you husband for being so sweet about everything!
Here are a few of my recent finds for little one.
1. Lion Piano Doodle Pants, found on Zulily
2. Stripe Drumming Wolf Doodle Pants, found on Zulily
3. Water baby washcloths from aden+anais
4. Muslin swaddles from aden+anais
5. Sleeping bag from aden+anais
Aren’t the doodle pants adorable? Since we aren’t finding out if we are having a boy or a girl, I think they they will be perfect.
The Portland Head Light was breathtakingly beautiful. It threatened to rain all day, but luckily held off until we got home for the evening. The day was chilly, and a wonderful change to the hot summer we are having down here in Texas.
