portland, maine part 2

After a visit to the lighthouse, we headed into town to do a little window shopping and have dinner. Portland was smaller than I expected and there were so many cute shops everywhere. We ended up buying all of our souvenirs in this town. Burned out on lobster rolls, we decided to eat at an Irish pub and it was really tasty.

Portland head light

The Portland Head Light was breathtakingly beautiful. It threatened to rain all day, but luckily held off until we got home for the evening. The day was chilly, and a wonderful change to the hot summer we are having down here in Texas.

Portland, Maine

We are back! Maine was absolutely GORGEOUS!
We stayed in Kennebunk right off the beach. The weather was in the 70′s all week long.
I got a nice little tan.
We ate and ate and ate.
We took several day trips to the surrounding coastal towns and couldn’t pass up the opportunity to see this breathtaking light house in Portland.
Pinch me, I’m dreaming.

Cute+functional travel bags

How great are these canvas tote bags from luckycann on Etsy? I think I found my summer go-to travel bag.  I love all of the storage pockets with easy access to things like your phone, ID, books, camera, etc.
I wish I had known about this sooner, so could take one with us when we go on our summer vacation. I think this could even pass as a diaper bag. What do you think?
